Since the last “B” in Wendigo stands for “beware” let’s go back to the beginning of the world (and of this paragraph) before we go further, because you don’t want to run into the Wendigo Art Bot 2 unless you’ve already heard of the Wendigo Art Bot 1.
I first got to thinking about wendigo artbot 1 after some friends of mine came into the city from the North Shore, and said they had a run-in with a crazy dude named Wendigo who lived on a reservation out there. I thought it was the same Wendigo who’s supposedly buried in the woods, and who can be heard on the wind chimes that the old folks leave by the railroad tracks.
But, it turns out that there’s a crazy artist-type out there named Wendigo who lives on a reservation, and he’s the one who likes to cut up people and throw them in a pile, then eat them.
He apparently loves to put human body parts on eBay, and sell the ones he’s not planning to eat to other crazy folks.
I’m sure you can guess what the inspiration for the word wendigo is, but if you don’t know, allow me to enlighten you. The wendigo are cannibals, and since they are half-man, half-beast, there are human cannibals, called wendigo, too.

The Wendigo artbot 1 was a pretty big hit and lots of you sent us e-mails asking for a version 2, so I got to thinking about ways to improve this art bot.
I decided to add a color version, so the colors in the wendigo artbot can go with a bunch of other images. In fact, with the colorful Wendigo Art Bot 2, it’s possible to do all sorts of amazing things to make sure the wendigo artbot never grows old or tired, because as soon as we add new images to the wendigo artbot it’s possible to add a new bot made of that image, as well as another bot made of that image, etc., because the Wendigo artbot 2 bot can have as many different looks as you want, and you can have as many different art bots as you want, so that’s unlimited.
