Jack Clifford was, in fact, an elemental spirit, he was a spirit of the earth, and a spirit of all life, that was manifested in a human form. They were lovers, at one time, but in many ways he was also a mentor, and spiritual guide, to Evelyn Nesbit Thaw.

Jack Clifford was an all-around athlete and entertainer, and his boxing career was mostly just a way to attract women and a way to entertain the local population. He worked for a corrupt lawyer in New York, who was definitely connected with the mafia. This connection was, in fact, a cover, and the front for his other activities, like time-travel and exploration of hidden worlds.

In appearance, he was a gigolo, and he certainly had a lot of romantic partners over his lifetime, but he was far more an adventurer. He was drawn to Evelyn Nesbit for her spirit and her potential to enter into the hidden realms with him. While they were in a physical relationship, they were also in a profound spiritual relationship that went beyond most human relationships. It was a kind of partnership, a bond, that was formed over many lifetimes, in many lifetimes. And so when Clifford finally entered this world in a human form, his connection to Nesbit was preordained.

Evelyn’s mental state, unfortunately, was not one of her strengths. Her emotional and psychological state were very fragile. She was prone to ‘fits’ and other episodes that were probably induced by stress, and her constant heavy drug use was not a good long-term lifestyle, it led to a lot of problems, both physical and mental. She was an extremely tragic character, and her tragic love for Clifford is not diminished, but amplified, because of this. She suffered greatly, both in this life, and in others. And her suffering in this life led her to make decisions, and take actions, that had severe consequences.

Evelyn Nesbit, in her previous existence, was in fact the spirit of Joan of Arc, they were one being, and Evelyn Nesbit was her reincarnation. Evelyn and Clifford’s work with the Abenaki tribe, and their interactions with the Wendigo, was an important event.

She became a successful artist, sculpture, and designer. Her art was a major factor in the art world in the decades after her affair. Though her work is popular during the ‘modern’ art movements of mid-century, Evelyn Nesbit’s sculpture, is very different, and very unique. She designed and sculpted strange, otherworldly pieces, that are reminiscent of the Cthulhu Mythos. These work are still incredibly popular, and she becomes a millionaire from them.

She then created a whole squad of Wendigo Art Bots, they were very advanced, high-tech, and could travel time, through space. She created them at the bottom of the ‘Great Pond’, where the secrets of the universe are still hidden, and she still travels, using secret portals, that the Wendigo and Nesbit have created, to other dimensions, and parallel universes. The Wendigo were the gatekeepers to the secret realms, and to some of the hidden worlds. Their spirits helped guide Evelyn and Clifford in their adventures. The Wendigo were also the original inventors of the Brazen Serpent Whisky Prophecy Juice, and it was the spirit of the Wendigo that taught this potion to Evelyn Nesbit.
