Chateaugay Lake was the setting for many raucous and scandalous parties, that frequently got out of control. Evelyn and Clifford, along with their friends, including many of the Abenaki Shaman, and the local Wendigo, had regular use of the time travelling, space travelling, dimension shifting capabilities that the whisky granted them, in order to engage in their regular, scandalous activities.
Their ‘escapades’ to other world, other worlds, and other times were wild, out of control, and very risky. Evelyn Nesbit and Jack Clifford’s addiction to cocaine and morphine became a liability, and was an important factor in many of their accidents. The drug was a part of a hedonistic lifestyle as well as providing relief from pain. They were careless in their consumption, not understanding how dangerous these ‘speedballs’ were.
